Our History and Previous Fundraisers
Seven years ago a group of friends were chatting over a beer one night, after a game of Squash, and the subject came up of raising money for charity. The following Sunday the group rode to Skegness with no preparation or planning and raised £500 for a local charity. The next year, 2001, we decided to get better organised. We rode from London to Paris, a distance of about 250 miles over two days and this time we raised a total of £7000!
Due to this success we decided to do this every year since and so far we have ridden over 1200 miles and raised funds of over £70,000!
Below are some pictures of our previous fundraisers along with some of the recipients of the funds we managed to raise. Please take a look.
Our trips so far have been:
- London to Paris (3x).
- Parliament in London to the European Parliament in Brussels
- Jet skiing across the channel from Calais to Dover (included in the Parliament challenge).
- Bordeaux to Bezier following the river Midi in France.
