Goals
'Building for the Future' is an appeal to expand the hospice and develop the facilities. The appeal will raise money to redesign the current hospice to allow young people, over 18, their own purposely-designed separate sleeping unit so that all age groups can use the hospice at the same time. (They can't at the moment due to Dept. of Health regulations)
Six extra bedrooms will be added to allow more children and young people and their families/friends to stay at the hospice.
About Rainbows Hospice
Rainbows Children’s Hospice is located in Loughborough, Leicestershire on the edge of the Charnwood Forest. It is the children’s hospice for the East Midlands and South Yorkshire providing respite, palliative and terminal care to families that include a child with a life limiting illness.
